Know every crawler, agent, and bot on your site

Bots are more than half of web traffic now, and a real share of your bandwidth. Lume shows you exactly which agents are hitting you, how much, and where: the picture your analytics tool is hiding.

Classified, not discarded

Generic analytics filters bots out. Lume classifies every request into 17 agent types (from AI crawlers and search engines to scrapers and SEO tools) so you see the half of your traffic everyone else throws away.

By operator, agent, and page

Break traffic down by operator (36 cataloged), individual agent (56 cataloged), and the exact pages they hit. Sort, drill in, and find the crawler behind a spike.

Composition & trends

A live human / bot / AI-agent split, period-over-period deltas, and an hourly view. Real-time, with no sampling, so the numbers are the numbers.

Crawler behavior

See the status codes crawlers hit (including the pages returning the most 404s to bots) so you know where they’re wasting crawl budget.

Export it

CSV export on Solo and up, so the data goes wherever you need it.

FAQ

Does Lume sample my traffic?

No. Every event you send is classified and counted. The composition and trends you see are the real numbers, not an estimate.

How is a request classified as a bot or agent?

By matching the user-agent against the catalog and by network signals (datacenter ASN, published ranges). User-driven agents are separated from autonomous crawlers, and anything unrecognized is labeled honestly rather than guessed.

Can Lume block the bots it finds?

No. Lume measures, identifies, and verifies. It gives you the evidence to decide what to allow or block; the blocking itself is your call (or your CDN/WAF’s).
